Process
A clean project path from first form to final walkthrough.
Hammer uses a structured six-step process designed to keep homeowners informed, projects on track, and quality consistent from discovery call through final walkthrough.
The Hammer Process
Six steps. No surprises.
Every Hammer project follows the same structured path. This process is how we keep communication clear, quality consistent, and homeowners confident throughout the build.
Project Form
You submit the JobTread project form with your project type, location, rough timeline, and any photos you have. This gives Hammer the context needed to have a productive first conversation.
The form is the starting point. No obligation, no pressure. Hammer reviews every submission and follows up same day or next business day.
Discovery Call
Thadeus schedules a 10-15 minute discovery call to understand your project goals, timeline, and budget range. This is a two-way conversation, not a sales pitch.
If the project is a fit, Hammer moves forward to a site visit. If it is not a fit, Hammer will say so honestly and may be able to refer you to the right resource.
Site Visit
Thadeus visits the project site to see the space, assess scope, identify any structural or systems considerations, and get a clear picture of what the build will require.
The site visit is where real scoping happens. Photos help, but seeing the space in person is how Hammer builds an accurate project plan.
Pre-Construction Planning
Hammer prepares the project scope, sequencing, material selections, subcontractor coordination, and timeline before construction begins.
Good planning prevents surprises. Hammer works through selections, permits where required, and scheduling before the first day of construction.
Build + Communication
Construction begins with regular updates, clear communication, and a site lead managing daily progress. Homeowners are kept informed throughout.
Hammer uses JobTread to manage project communication, documentation, and progress tracking. You will always know where your project stands.
Final Walkthrough
Thadeus walks through the completed project with you to confirm every item is finished to standard and address any final punch list items.
The final walkthrough is Hammer's commitment that the project is done right before we close out. Your satisfaction is the measure.
Why Process Matters
Construction without a process is construction without accountability.
Most homeowner frustration with contractors comes from poor communication, unclear scope, and surprise costs. Hammer built its process specifically to address those problems.
The project form gives Hammer context before the first call. The discovery call gives you a chance to evaluate fit before any commitment. The site visit produces a real scope. Pre-construction planning eliminates surprises. Build communication keeps you informed. The final walkthrough closes the loop.
This is not a sales process. It is a construction process designed to produce great outcomes for homeowners who value quality and communication.
